I’ve been blogging about my sewing journey but now a lot of my time is taken up with my academic life; I have started a PhD with a focus on inherited traumas and autoethnography. Obviously, alongside my work at Paganhill Community Group and my full-time lecturing at the University of Gloucestershire, that makes me officially busy! I’m nearing the end of writing a book as well, which I hope should go into editing in the next month or so.
This means I am very focused on my personal and academic growth, working on things such as saying NO, both to people and opportunities. Grabbing the shiny means I might not have enough energy to do things I enjoy on top of the work I do.

I also need a little energy left for the dog, since she has developed some Covid Puppy problems and training is necessary – time consuming!
