This session covers the standards of simulation programs compared to the INACSL’s standards. I was not familiar with these before and must find out if they are considered the ones I should be using in the UK. The lectures themselves tend to be quite difficult to focus on – I don’t think the lecturer is very comfortable with reading the text.
Professional integrity, includes ethics and confidentiality. Specifically, attributes such as respect, honesty, commitment, collaboration and engagement. I do like the basic assumption from the Center for Medical Simulation – “We believe everyone is intelligent, capable, cares about doing their best and wants to improve.”
